Track and report learner progress with
Stages Report Wizard
Graphs
A picture is worth a
thousand words, and
may also be the best
way to illustrate learn-
er progress over time.
With just a few clicks
of the mouse, Stages Report Wizard generates
and displays bar charts and line graphs for your
selected reports. You can quickly and automati-
cally view data for:
3 Accuracy: how often did the learner get the
answer correct on the first try?
3 Number of tries: is the learner completing
the activity with fewer tries?
3 Independence: how many prompts were
required, on average?
3 Time on activity: has the time increased or
decreased for this learner?
3 Other graphs specific to the activity
Content Mastery
In addition to graphing
performance results,
Stages Report Wizard
also generates Content
Mastery Tables for two
or more reports. Content Mastery Tables show you
exactly which content the learner understands and
which areas need additional work. You may also
add your comments for each table.
Summary Reports
Stages Report Wizard compiles graphs, content
mastery and your observations into a document
suitable for including in learner portfolios. Each
Activity Summary report includes learner profile
information, a list of sessions, graphs, content
mastery tables, and your comments and observa-
tions. You can select the order in which they
appear, then print, save, or create a PDF file for a
complete record of that activity.

Stages Report Wizard
Stages Report Wizard is an ideal tool to maintain
accountability for learner achievement in a timely
and cost-effective way. Stages Report Wizard
works with your saved Stages reports to show
many aspects of a learner’s achievement toward
curriculum standards and IEP goals. It automatically
generates graphs, analyzes reports for content mas-
tery, and compiles the results into a final document
for printing, saving, or distribution as a PDF file.
With Stages Report Wizard, you can:
3 create documents for a learner’s alternate
assessment portfolio
3 report on progress and determine new
objectives at IEP meetings
3 discuss a learner’s progress with parents
3 transition a learner to a new educator or
learning environment
3 recommend curriculum software that meets
the learner’s needs
3 design and implement long-term alternate
assessment plans

“The Stages program represents an
enormous pool of resources to
increase the accessibility of com-
puter technology to our students
with special needs. It is rare to
find programs that contain such
comprehensive assessment data
directly linked with frameworks
for goals and objectives.”
