3.3.10 Storage Conguration
SATA Mode Selection
This item is for SATAIII_0, SATAIII_1 and SATAII_PORT_0 ports.
Use this to select SATA mode. Conguration options: [IDE Mode],
[AHCI Mode], [RAID Mode] and [Disabled]. The default value is
[AHCI Mode].
AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) supports NCQ and
other new features that will improve SATA disk performance but
IDE mode does not have these advantages.
SATA Aggressive Link Power Management
Use this item to congure Aggressive Link Power Management.
Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T.
Use this to enable or disable S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analy-
sis, and Reporting Technology).
LSI 2308
This item is for LSI_SAS_0 and LSI_SAS_1 ports. Use this to en-
able or disable LSI SAS operation mode.
Bootable LSI Controller
Use this to select LSI SAS Option ROM
SCU Devices
Use this to enable or disable SCU devices.
