The GAINZ
c
command sets the Z
ONE
output gain level on output c of the EF1210 to
a level between 0 dB and 20 dB. The output gain setting corresponds to a nominal
output level that ranges from -20 dBu to 0 dBu, respectively. For instance, setting
GAINZ
c
to 0 makes the nominal output level -20 dBu, and setting GAINZ
c
to 20
makes the nominal output level 0 dBu.
The factory default setting for GAINZ
c
is 12 (-8 dBu = -10 dBV).
Remote Commands
The following commands can be sent by the remote control device to set the Z
ONE
output gain level.
EF1210 Messages
The following messages are sent by the EF1210 in response to a GAINZ
c
? com-
mand, or in response to any GAINZ
c
command when acknowledgment mode is on.
Example
In the following example, the remote control device requests the current Z
ONE
input
gain on output A of the EF1210 with Device ID number 7. Then it sets a new level on
output A on the same EF1210. Acknowledgment mode is enabled.

Note.
The wildcard character (*) is not allowed for specifying the chan-
nel number c for the GAINZc command.
