REPORTING
When the EF1210 detects an error (usually a command syntax error), it may report it
using the ERROR# message. The ERROR command enables or disables the error
reporting feature. This is useful for debugging the commands coming from the
remote control device.
The factory default setting for ERROR is 1 (on).
Remote Commands
The following commands can be sent by the remote control device to enable or dis-
able error reporting.
EF1210 Messages
The following messages are sent by the EF1210 in response to an ERROR? command,
or in response to any ERROR command when acknowledgment mode is on.
Example
In the following example, the remote control device requests the error reporting status
of the EF1210 with Device ID number 7. Then it enables the error reporting of the
same EF1210. Acknowledgment mode is enabled.
Remote Command Effects
ERROR0 Turn off error reporting.
ERROR1 Turn on error reporting.
ERROR2 Toggle error reporting on or off.
ERROR? Request status of error reporting.
EF1210 Message Message meaning

ERROR1 Error reporting is currently on.
