THE EFFECTS
The Hydrasynth voice engine is so powerful that it only made sense to pair it with an equally powerful
eects section. There are four independent eect modules available, two of which provide awe-inspir-
ing delay and reverb eects, while the other two are the aural equivalent of a set of Swiss Army knives.
Any tool you need for your music, Hydrasynth Explorer has it.
Some parameter names are shown below in [brackets]. These are available as mod destinations
for Macros and the Mod Matrix. The values for these parameters have finer increments than the
others, which ensures maximum resolution when they are being modulated.
Pre- and Post-FX
The only dierence between these two FX modules is that one precedes the Delay and Reverb and the
other follows them. They serve dierent purposes due to their placement in the signal path, so they will
often have dierent settings. But since their FX types and parameters are identical, both modules will
be covered in this section.
These are the FX types available for the Pre-FX and Post-FX modules:
• Chorus • Flanger • Rotary • Phaser • Lo-Fi
• Tremolo • EQ • Compressor • Distort
Each FX type has preset templates that can be used as starting points for your own creations. When the
patch is saved the FX settings are preserved.
Bypass
This is the default option. To disable the eect module, set it to Bypass.
