&M0 Asynchronous mode (default).

&M1, &M2, &M3, &M4 Reserved.

&Pn—Pulse Dial Make-to-Break Ratio Selection

&P0 Selects 39%—61% make/break ratio at 10 pulses per second.

&P1 Selects 33%—67% make/break ratio at 10 pulses per second (default).

&P2 Selects 33%—67% make/break ratio at 20 pulses per second.

&Qn—Asynchronous Communications Mode

&Q0 Asynchronous mode, buffered. Same as \N0.

&Q5 Error control mode, buffered (default). Same as \N3.

&Q6 Asynchronous mode, buffered. Same as \N0.

&Q8 MNP error control mode. If an MNP error control protocol is not established, the

modem will fall back according to the current user setting in register S36.

&Q9 V.42 or MNP error control mode. If neither error control protocol is established, the

modem will fall back according to the current user setting in register S36.

&Sn—Data Set Ready (DSR) Option

&S0 DSR is always on (default).

&S1 DSR comes on after establishing a connection and goes off when the connection ends.
