Chapter 3 Configuring Wireless LAN Card Settings

When using Hexadecimal format, only digits 0-9 and letters a-f, A-F are allowed. Valid

key length for each encryption type is as below:

Alphanumeric Format Hexadecimal Format

64 bit 5 alphanumeric characters 10 hexadecimal digits

128 bit 13 alphanumeric characters 26 hexadecimal digits

Create Keys with Passphrase

To create keys by using passphrase, enter a text string with a maximum of 26

alphanumeric characters in the Passphrase field.

4. In the Use WEB Key box, select one of the four keys to encrypt the data you are going

to transmit.

5. To have the new settings take effect, click Apply.
