3.ConnectingtheResidentialVoIPcablemodemtoYourComputer

InstallationProcedureforEthernetInterface

Followthestepsbelowforproperinstallation:

1. ConnectoneendofthecoaxialcabletotheCABLEconnectiononthewall,andtheother

endtotheCABLEjackontheTCG220‐Tdp.

Note:Tospeeduptheregistrationprocessofcablemodem,thecoaxialcableshouldbe

connectedtothemodembeforethemodemturnedON

2. ConnecttheplugfromthepowersupplyintothePOWERjackontheTCG220‐Tdp,and

plugthepowersupplyintoanACoutlet.

Note: Use only the power supply that accompanied this unit. Using other adapters may

damagetheunit.

3. ConnectoneendoftheEthernetcabletotheEthernetportofyourcomputer,andthe

otherendtotheETHERNETportontheTCG220‐Tdp.

4. TheTCG220‐TdpwilllookforthepropercablemodemsignalintheCableTelevision

networkandprocesstheinitialregistration.Thevoicegatewayisreadyfordatatransfer

aftertheLED“CableLink”islitsolidgreen.

Note:TheREBOOTbuttonattherearpanelisformaintenancepurposesonly.Youdon’t

needtouseit.


