TEST Interface
Normally there is one non-configurable, internal TEST interface called TEST, usable only as
the destination for a call. If a call is received on this interface, the on hold music stored in
the non-volatile memory is played. Incoming calls must be in G.729A or G.723 format;
other formats are not supported. Suffix dialling digits are ignored.
8.11.3 SIP Interfaces
1 Select Gateway > SIP.
2 Click on one of the SIP interfaces (SIP1 - SIP4) under the Interface heading.
A new window opens.

3 Select/Enter following settings:
Field name Description
• Name Enter a name for the SIP interface
• Disable Select the Disable check box to disable the Interface
• ID Enter the registration ID followed by the SIP provider
domain name preceded by an @ (for example
8111111e0@sipgate.de).
• Proxy The IP address of the SIP provider to where the SIP
messages (REGISTER,INVITE,etc.) are to be sent.
• STUN Server Only necessary if the SIP server is outside the private
network.
Note: STUN Server has not been tested and is not
officially supported by the Ascom IP-DECT System.
