7. Alerts
The alert priority is shown by use of colors, as follows:
The color-coded LED priority beacon show the priority color of incoming alerts.
A bar with the priority color to the left of each alert in the Alert view.
A red frame around high priority (1) alerts.
NOTE: The alert priority colors follow the MDD standards and cannot be altered.
7.3.2 Category Color
IMPORTANT: There is no priority handling for category colors, they are used for information
only. Alerts from patient monitoring systems will always use their priority
color, and cannot be labeled with a category color.
Categories can be used to label alerts with a color, for example to show which room, or
patient group, the alert is coming from.

The following category colors are available:
•Red
Green
•Blue
•Yellow
•Orange
Cyan
Purple
•Pink
Dark Red
Priority Color Priority Used for Event Indications (if enabled)
Red Crisis/
High
"Code Blue" crisis alert/
High priority alert
Top display notification, red flashing
LED priority beacon, sound, and
vibrator. Red frame around the alert if
the priority is crisis (1).
IMPORTANT: These indications are
always enabled, and cannot be turned
off
Yellow Medium Medium priority alert Top display notification, yellow
flashing LED priority beacon, sound,
and vibrator.
Cyan Low Low priority alert Top display notification, fixed cyan LED
priority beacon, sound, and vibrator.
