7. Alerts
View Alert
Tap the alert to view additional information.
Respond to Alert
Tap the appropriate button, such as Reject, or Accept. Refer to 7.4 Alert Response Options
on page 51 for a list of possible response options.
7.2 Alert Indication
New alerts are indicated in the:
7.2.1 Top Display
7.2.2 Alert Priority Beacon
7.2.3 Lock Screen
7.2.4 Top Bar
7.2.5 Notification
7.2.1 Top Display
When the front display is in sleep mode, the alert type, location and priority of active alerts
is shown in the top display. If several alerts are active at the same time, the alerts are cycled
with the highest prioritized and oldest alert presented first, followed by additional lower
prioritized alerts. Alert notifications remain in the top display until they are handled.
The icons used for alert types are the same in both the top display and the front display,
refer to 7.3.3 Alert Type Icons on page 49.
The top display turns off:
After one minute of inactivity.
When unlocking the front display.
7.2.2 Alert Priority Beacon
When the front display is in sleep mode, the alert priority, or category, is shown with a color
by the alert priority beacon. The alert priority beacon flashes for a while and is then turned
off.
7.2.3 Lock Screen
When the front display is in sleep mode, the front display will automatically light up to show
newly received alerts on the lock screen.
Refer to 11.4 Lock Screen Notifications on page 59 for details about lock screen notification.
7.2.4 Top Bar
The number of pending (not yet handled) alerts is shown in the top bar.
