5. Calling
1 Press the Home button to exit the Phone app.
2 The user interface can now be navigated in the same way as when not in a call.
Information about the call is presented in the phone bar in the lower part of the
screen. The phone bar is hidden when an app is open.
3 To return to the Phone app tap the phone bar, or swipe down the notification drawer
and tap on the ongoing call. If the phone bar is hidden, press the Home button to
return to the Alert view.
TIP: Tap to disconnect the call.
5.4.10 The Phone Bar
Call status is shown through a phone bar in the lower part of the screen while navigating the
user interface.
• Tap the icons on the phone bar to interact directly with the call (for example to accept/
end the call, or to push-to-talk).
• Tap the middle of the phone bar to open the call screen.

5.5 Headset

A headset can be used for any type of call on the Ascom Myco 2 handset. The original Ascom
Myco Headset or any Android compatible 3.5 mm headset can be used

5.5.1 Connect the Headset
In order to connect the headset to the handset, do the following:
• Connect the Ascom headset adapter to the charging-/headset connector
• Connect the headset to the adapter
5.5.2 Answer a Call with the Headset
To answer a call with the headset, press the main headset button. To answer a call without
using the headset, refer to 5.1 Answer or Reject a Call on page 29.
5.5.3 Make a Call with the Headset
To initiate a call, follow the instructions in 5.2 Make a Call on page 30. The headset itself
cannot be used to initiate a call.
5.5.4 Adjust the Volume with the Headset
To adjust the volume with the headset, press the volume button up or down on the headset.
To adjust the volume without using the headset buttons, refer to 4.3 Adjust the Volume on
page 13.
