8.3.5 Set different Message Alerts for Mail and Voice Messages
Enter “Toolbox” in the menu, see 6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. Select “Sound & Alerts”
and press YES. Select “Message alert”, press YES. Different message alerts for the two
types of messages can be selected. The cordless phone has 14 different message alerts
(default), see
6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. 10 additional message alerts can be
downloaded to the phone. Press YES to save the setting.
8.3.6 Set the Key Sound
This means that every time a key is used, the phone gives a small sound.
Enter “Toolbox” in the menu, see 6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. Select “Sound & Alerts”
and press YES. Select “Key sound”, press YES. Choose between “Silent, “Click”, or
“Tone”. Press YES to save the setting.
8.4 Display Settings
8.4.1 Backlight
Enter “Toolbox” in the menu, see 6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. Select “Display” and press
YES. Select “Backlight”, press YES. Set to “On”, “Off”, or “Automatic”. Automatic
means that the backlight turns on when a key is pressed, at an incoming call etc. and the
backlight turns off approx. 5 seconds after the phone has been used. Press YES to save the
setting.
8.4.2 Contrast
Enter “Toolbox” in the menu, see 6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. Select “Display” and press
YES. Select “Contrast”, press YES.

8.4.3 Enable/Disable Popup Info
The system will send information in a popup window when working in menu mode during
a call. For example, if searching for a call number in the phonebook during a call and the
other part ends the call, the text "Hung up" will popup in a separate window.
Enter “Toolbox” in the menu, see 6.5 Toolbox Tab on page 23. Select “Display” and press
YES. Select “Popup info”, press YES. Set to “Enable” or “Disable”. Press YES to save the
setting.
