Installation and putting into service
Installing the battery
1. Hold the handset with the clip facing downwards and insert the battery.
2. Press the battery and handset firmly together (see Figure) and slide the two locks
outwards.
Charging the battery
The battery is delivered uncharged. To charge the battery, you must place the handset on
the charging base. If there is a second battery available, it can be charged without the
handset being in the charging base. In the meantime the other can be used to operate
the handset.
LED display on the charging base:
• red = The battery is being charged
• green = The battery is charged
One battery charge lasts for approx. 80 hours of standby or
for approx. 8 hours of talk time
Charging takes approx. 1 hour
