4.5 Power Supply Unit (24Vdc) with Multiple Power Buses
The output of the power supply unit can be divided over multiple buses. This method is recommended
as it will reduce the power cable lengths.

4.5.1 Power Supply Basic Installation
The 24Vdc power is carried on a two-wire bus that loops from room controller to room controller. The
minimum wire size for the 24Vdc power supply bus is 18 gauge (1mmØ) (0.8mm²).

4.5.2 Power Supply for Systems with Slave Corridor Lamps
Each slave corridor lamp receives its 24Vdc power supply from the power output connections of the
associated room controller - not directly from the external power supply bus. The room controller can
support two corridor lamps.
