Menu icons
Navigate the menu
In stand-by mode, press “Menu” to enter the menu. Use the
Navigation key to move around in the menu structure. The
three Soft keys below the display are used for choices in the
menu. The function of each Soft key is explained by text in
the Soft key field in the display. Press the key to return to
stand-by mode.
Use the local phonebook
Find a name:
Select “Contacts” and mark “Local
phonebook”. Then either press “Select” and scroll the list by
pressing the Navigation key to find the entry, or press
“Search” and enter the first letter(s) or the whole name. Press
“Search” again; name and number in the first matching entry
is shown. You can step to the next entry by pressing the
Navigation key . Press to make the call.
Add an entry:
Enter the local phonebook, and press
“Options”. Mark “Add” and press “Select”. Enter name and
number, and press “Save”.
Edit an entry:
Enter the local phonebook and mark the entry.
Press “Details” and then press “Edit”. Make your changes
and press “Save”.
Delete an entry:
Mark the name and press “Options”. Mark
the “Delete” option and press “Select”; the question “Delete
entry?” is shown. Press “Yes”.
Search in the central phonebook
Select “Contacts”, mark “Central phonebook” and press
“Search”. Enter the first letter(s) in the first name, a space and
the first letter(s) in the surname. Press “Search”.
The Central phonebook will be searched and a list of
matching names will be displayed. You can step to the next
entry in alphabetical order by pressing the Navigation key .
Press to make the call.
Soft keys and Hot keys
The three Soft keys below the display can be defined for
specific functions such as dialling a specific number, etc.
A Hot key can have the same function as a Soft key and any
key “0”–“9” can be programmed as a Hot key.
Turn the automatic keypad lock on/off
Select “Settings”, mark “General” and press “Select”. Mark
“Auto Key Lock” an press “Change”; the Auto lock checkbox
is selected/cleared. The “Locked keypad” icon indicates a
locked keypad.
Switch the handset off/on
Switch off:
Press and hold the key; the question “Switch
off handset?” is shown. Press “Yes”.
Switch on:
Press and hold the key.
