Operating the answering machine by remote access
Introduction
You can access and remote control your
answering machine from any telephone,
i.e.
Play back and delete messages
Switch on/off
Record/modify your greeting
messages
Since DTMF signals are required for the re-
mote control of your answering machine,
you can carry out the necessary procedures
either with a
telephone with dual-tone multi-
frequency dialling (DTMF) or
code transmitter (manual transmit-
ter)
Points to remember with remote
access:
Remote access works only if a
remote access PIN has been
activated (see page 48).
Every function can be aborted or
stopped using numeric key 2.
To end remote access, simply put
down the receiver.
