Suppressing the display (CLIR)
Activating/deactivating CLIR
Your telephone supports the feature "call-
ing line identification restriction or CLIR"
on accesses for analogue switched connec-
tions. You can use this feature to suppress
the transmission of your call number, i.e.
your call number will not be displayed on
the called party’s set despite CLIP.
Deactivating CLIR (default setting)

Warning:
This feature may not be understood by your
local exchange or PBX (telephone system)
and can lead to a malfunction. Therefore
do not activate CLIR if your local exchange
does not support this feature or if your tel-
ephone is operated on a private branch ex-
change (PBX).
