Basic settings
Operate the dialing method
You can operate your telephone using two
different dialling methods:
– tone dialling
(dual tone multi-frequency dialling =
DTMF)
– pulse dialling
The default setting on your telephone is
tone dialling (DTMF). One of the advan-
tages of this setting is quick dialling so
check whether your socket works with tone
dialling.
Press the Connect key and then dial any
number (e.g. 2). If you can still hear the
same dial tone, you need to switch the
dialling method over to pulse dialling.
