• Portable identity: a portable is uniquely defined, by its IPUI, within the area where it has access
rights
• Fixed identity: defines the access rights of a portable to a DECT system
• Basic service: defines the type of call, e.g. normal call setup, emergency call, etc.
Outgoing call connection
Depending on system implementation the fixed part or network beyond DECT will verify the data
contained in the ‘Call control setup’ message and handle accordingly. If the result is positive the call
proceeds when the fixed radio termination sends the ‘Call control connect’ message.
Sending keypad information

features:

• Go to pulse (enable pulse dialling)
• Go to DTMF signalling - definite tone length
• Register recall
• Go to DTMF signalling - infinite tone length
• Internal call
• Service call
• Outgoing call and dialled digits (#, *, 0 - 9).
