Chapter 7 Upgrade information – September 2004
7.1 Base Stations BS330, BS340 and BS370
BS330 and BS340 has been equipped with new hardware and software.
The BSM (Base Station Manager) has been upgraded to comply with the new BS330 and BS340.
Note: The new BS330 and BS340 are not compatible with the Site Survey Tool software. Older versions
of BS330 and BS340 may be ordered on request for the Site Survey Tool.
CE compliances has been updated.
7.2 Central Processing Unit CPU2/EMN
Information about the CPU2/EMN circuit board has been added. This circuit board has been developed
for the Enterprise Mobility Node (EMN) System.
7.3 Digital Trunk Unit DTU-E1
Information that the DTU-E1 with CAS+ firmware can be connected to Nortel Networks PBXs; Meridian
1 and Succession 1000M has been added.
Information that the DTU-E1 with CCS firmware can be connected to EADS Telecom PBXs; M650I/
M6540 IP PBX and NeXspan L/S/C/50 has been added.
