2.2.2 DTU-E1 CAS+ firmware set (NTM/RYSNB 101 17/10 R1C)
The problems and solutions for the DTU-E1 CAS+ firmware are the same as for the DTU CAS+
firmware. See paragraph
2.2.1 for the description.
2.2.3 CPU firmware (RYT/ROFNB 157 19/3 R2A)
The following problems are solved:
LTU with cascade feature
In a DCT1800-GAP system with an LTU supporting the cascade feature (ROFNB157 02/6), a call can
be picked-up by the wired phone. In this situation the call can not be transferred to the cordless phone
as no dial tone is available. After executing the upgrade instructions, run CSM, select the ‘Wait for dial
tone’ menu and select the option ‘Tone detection, continue at time-out’ (see paragraph
).
Dial tone out of specification
When a DCT1800-GAP system is connected to a MD110 that generates a ‘strange’ dial tone, it is
possible that it is not detected. As a result no calls can be made. This is the case when the special
'message waiting' dial tone is present on an extension located on a CAS link. The problem can be
solved by setting the 'wait for dial tone' parameter to 'pause'. However, users might start complaining
about the long pauses during dialling. A better solution is to execute the upgrade instructions, run
CSM, select the ‘Wait for dial tone’ menu and select the option ‘Tone detection, continue at time-out’
(see paragraph
2.4.1).
2.2.4 CPU board controller firmware (NTM/RYSNB 101 23/4 R1B)
The following problem is solved:
Error messages from non-existing system boards
The board controller of the CPU periodically polls all board positions in a system for test purposes.
At the same time the board controller also communicates with boards due to operational use of the
system. Up to now the firmware assumed that the received response to the poll comes from the last
polled board. This is not always correct. This results in fault messages in the ‘info’ or ‘fault’ table
indicating that messages are received from non-existing system boards, while this is not the case.
After executing the upgrade instructions the error is solved.
2.2.5 CSM DCT1800-GAP (LZYNB 201 05/n R2B)
This paragraph describes the problems that are solved. For information on subjects that have been
added or changed see paragraph
2.4.
Abnormally terminated calls in status menu
When the logging of statistic information is switched off, all ongoing calls are marked as ‘abnormally
terminated calls’ in the menu ‘Status’. This error has been solved by excluding all ongoing calls at the
moment of switching off statistics from the status menu.
Subscription of cordless phones to four systems instead of eight
A cordless phone could be subscribed by the cable subscription method to four DCT1800-GAP
systems instead of the required eight.
