unanswered incoming calls are appended to this list only if the A-number is received. An unanswered
incoming call from an A-party which already appears in the who-called list will replace the current entry.
If available in the cordless phone, the time and date are also logged. If a displayed entry has been
logged the same day, then the log time is displayed, else the log date is displayed.
The DTU-E1 CAS+ interface (IF2) provides for the transfer of the A-party number from the PBX to the
radio exchange. The A-number has a maximum length of 20 digits.
Alerting notification
The alerting notification is a message from the cordless phone towards the radio exchange indicating
that it is, for instance, ringing. If the cordless phone does not transmit the alerting notification, the PBX
could then transfer the call to, for instance, the PBX operator.
This feature is only supported for cordless phones using the DTU-E1 CAS+ interface. Calls routed
via the LTU interface are not supported by the alerting notification.
The DTU-E1 CAS+ interface (IF2) provides for the transfer of an alerting notification from the radio
exchange to the PBX.
Cordless phone not available in DECT system
When a cordless phone is switching off within the coverage area of a DECT system it sends a message
towards the radio exchange. The radio exchange de-registers the cordless phone and notifies the
PBX. Depending on the implementation in the PBX, an incoming call for the de-registered cordless
phone could be immediately transferred to, for instance, the PBX operator.
This feature is supported for cordless phones using the DTU-E1 CAS+ interface (IF2).
Message Waiting Indication - MWI
The MWI feature provides an indication to the subscriber that there are messages left in his/her voice
mail box. The DT368-R2, TH688, DT570, DT2xx, and DT4xx cordless phones displays an envelop
icon and generates a ringing signal.
The MWI is supplied by the MD110 to the radio exchange on the
DTU-E1 CAS+ interface (IF2).
