Modular cabinet - fuses on the MCCB
The fuses on the MCCB are only used for the ‘External power’ connection.
Front fuse - Protection against overload in base station powering via PW3/4/5/6
Rear fuse - Protection against overload in base station powering via PW1/2/7
Replacement:
1. Remove the power cable connected to PW-EXT.
2. Replace the fuse.
3. Re-connect the power cable.
Modular cabinet - battery power unit PSU
Left fuse – Protection against overload for cabinet on connector ‘C’.
Right fuse – Protection against overload for cabinet on connector ‘D’.
Replacement:
1. Pull out mains cable of PSU (at back of battery cabinet).
2. Replace the fuse.
3. Re-connect the mains cable.
Modular cabinet - battery power unit circuit breaker
Automatic fuse, protecting the batteries against overload when the system is battery powered. This
fuse is switchable. When the fuse ‘blows’, the switch go ‘OUT’ automatically. To activate the fuse, set
the switch to ‘IN’
5.10 Board reset
To reset a board execute the following procedure.
Procedure
1. Execute Board-Replace.
2. Disconnect board from back plane connector.
3. Insert board again. The board will now automatically be tested and taken into service.
