Connecting the PBX to the MCCB
On the MCCB, DTC1 – DTC6 on the DTC-OUT connectors are linked with DTC1 – DTC6 on the DTC-
IN connectors.
1. Connect PBX cables REX-CAB9010 (TSRNB 101 12) to the DTC-OUT connectors related to the
DTC-IN connectors used. In case another cable is required to cover a longer distance, this cable
should have a characteristic impedance of 75 Ω. The cable should not attenuate more than 6 dB
at 1.024 MHz.
2. Fasten the cables to the cable tie blocks on the ground strip (see figure 94) using tie wraps.
3. Connect the PBX cables to the PBX. To do this the PBX cables must be provided with appropriate
connectors.

24.3 Installation using twisted pair cables REX-CAB9007 (TSRNB 101 49)
The modular cabinet is provided with a ground strip to connect the DTU twisted pair cables and the
CLU, CLU-S and SLU cables to ground (see figure
95). These ground connections are necessary for
EMI suppression reasons.
Note:
The orientation of the shielding clamps shall be according to figure 95. If the clamp is positioned at
the wrong side, remove the clamp and fit it such that it is positioned correctly.
