23.2.2 Cascaded connection with LTU ROFNB 157 02/6 (Only for DCT1900-PWT)
Cascaded connections are only possible with LTU ROFNB 157 02/6.
LTU/MDF cascade cable set
1. Connect the plug of the longer
1
of the two LTU/MDF cascade cables (REX-CAB9003 (TSRNB
101 32) or long cable REX-CAB9005 (TSRNB 101 45)) to the upper connector of the rightmost
LTU as shown in figure
91.
2. Connect the plug of the shorter of the two LTU/MDF cascade cables (REX-CAB9003 (TSRNB
101 32) or long cable REX-CAB9005 (TSRNB 101 45)) to the lower connector of the rightmost LTU.
3. Screw the shielding clamp of the longer of the two LTU/MDF cascade cables to the rightmost free
position on the ground strip using two M3 x 10 torx 10 screws delivered with the modular cabinet.
4. Screw the shielding clamp of the shorter of the two LTU/MDF cascade cables to the next rightmost
free position on the ground strip.
5. Connect both LTU/MDF cascades to an MDF starting with the shortest (cable pair 1 of the cascade
cable REX-CAB9003 or REX-CAB9005 (TSRNB 101 32 or TSRNB 101 45), see table
8.
Note:
To meet the EMC requirements, the cable should never be cut to a length shorter than 2.5 m.
Signalling ground for LTU when using earth signalling for recall
The signalling ground is only applicable when earth signalling is used instead of timed break (hook
flash) signalling. The MCCB connects the signalling ground from the PBX to maximum 7 LTUs. In
case the radio exchange consists of more modular cabinets the signalling ground connections on the
MCCBs are interconnected.
1. Connect the PBX signalling ground from the MDF to the PBX screw connector on the MCCB.
2. If more modular cabinets are used in a system, chain the PBX connectors.
3. Connect an LTU/MCCB ground cable REX-CAB9014 (TSRNB 101 035/2)
2
to the LTU1 connector
on the MCCB.

1. Measure the distance from plug to ground strip.
2. TSRNB 101 35 is phased out. It can not be used with LTU REX-BRD0019 (ROFNB 157 25/2)
