Chapter 22 CLU/CLU-S/SLU to base station cabling
22.1 Introduction
This chapter describes all cabling between the CLU, CLU-S or SLU, and the base station. Refer to
chapter
20 on how to supply base station power via CLUs, CLU-S or SLUs.
The modular cabinet is provided with a ground strip to connect the CLU, CLU-S or SLU cables to
ground (see figure
86). These ground connections are necessary for EMI suppression reasons.
Note:
The orientation of the shielding clamps shall be according to figure 86. If the clamp is positioned at
the wrong side, remove the clamp and fit it such that it is positioned correctly.
