1. Remove the cable TRENB 101 03 from connection X112 and X113 on the backplane (see figure
81).
2. Remove cable TRENB 101 05 from connector X102 on the backplane (see figure 81), remove
the dummy plug from the connector and connect the cable to connectors X112 and X113. The
red wire must be connected to connector X112 on the backplane (see figure
81).
3. Connect cable TRENB 101 03 to the piggy-back faston of cable TRENB 101 05 on the MCCB.
4. Connect the power cable TRENB 101 01 (see figure 65) to the DC source.
Note:
The positive pole of the external DC source is connected to the ground of the modular cabinet via the
backplane.

the MCCB

1. Remove the cable TRENB 101 03 from connection X112 and X113 on the backplane (see figure
67).
2. Remove cable TRENB 101 05 from connector X102 on the backplane (see figure 83) and connect
the cable to connectors X112 and X113. The red wire must be connected to connector X112 on
the backplane (see figure
83).
3. Remove the dummy plugs from the connector of power cable TRENB 101 01 to make the piggy-
back fastons accessible.
WARNING
When using the PBX power supply, make sure that the capacity of the
supply is sufficient to power both the PBX and the modular cabinet.
