Note:
There are two sets of PW1, PW2 and PW3 terminals; one for backplane powering and one for external
powering.
Base station power supplied to a maximum of 3 CLUs/CLU-Ss/SLUs via the backplane and 5
CLUs/CLU-Ss/SLUs powered via a separate 48 V power supply
Figure 70 gives a schematic diagram of this configuration. There is no cable delivered with the modular
cabinet to connect the power supply. The cable can easily be made by yourself. Figure 71 gives the
cable diagram of this configuration. The total number of CLUs/CLU-Ss/SLUs in a modular cabinet is
limited to 8 by the ground strip.
