The BS370 can automatically give itself a base station number. It detects which numbers the
surrounding base stations have and gives itself a free base station number. However, there may
be a base station that the BS370 cannot see, having this base station number already. In that
case, two base station numbers may have the same number. These base stations cannot be used
to set up a call.
• If you want to automatically give the WRS a base station number, use ‘Dynamic identity
allocation’.
• If you want to give the WRS a base station identity yourself: enter the base station number for
the WRS. Recommended numbers for the WRS are from 80 up to FF (hex.).
13. Lock the WRS to a system and/or host base station. Use the appropriate ‘Locking method’ and
enter the required input:
14. Select Base Station - Disconnect.
15. Disconnect the RS232 cable from the BS370.
16. For ease of installation you can disconnect the power connector from the BS370. If used, you
can also disconnect the connector of the external antenna.
18.5.6 Fixing the mounting bracket to a wall

DECT system because
there are more DECT sys
