• Two 8-pin RJ45 modular jacks for powering.
The two powering connectors are interconnected on the board.
• A 6-pin RJ12 modular jack for service and configuration.
18.2.4 Powering by local adapter
A 24 Vdc adapter (BMLNB 101 09/n) can be used to power the BS370. This adapter is provided with
an 8-pin RJ45 plug that can be plugged into one of the power connectors of the BS370. It makes no
difference which power connector is used.
Note:
Only approved power supply according to valid editions of EN/IEC/CSA/UL/AU/NZS 60950 is to be
used when the base station is powered by a local power supply.
The pinning of the RJ45 power connector is as follows:

18.2.5 Base Station Manager software
For the BS370 a special software tool is available: the Base Station Manager (NTM/CXCNB 110
01/1D). You need the Base Station Manager to:
• Configure the BS370
• Download software to the BS370 (in flash memory)
• Read out logging data, to facilitate troubleshooting
You can connect a PC with the Base Station Manager software to the BS370 using the RS232 cable
with level shifter. This cable is delivered as part of the Base Station Manager package.
Tip:
You can also use the Base Station Manager to download software to BS330 and BS340 or read out
logging data of these base stations.
Note:
When configuring the BS370 with the Base Station Manager, the BS370 will not continuously be
operational.
