Chapter 17 BS340 base station
17.1 General
The BS340 could best be described as a BS330 base station with two omni-directional external
antennas. Other external antennas can be mounted as well. This chapter only contains the differences
between the BS340 and the BS330. For all other information please refer to chapter
16, base station
BS330.
Content of the box
The box in which the base station is packed contains:
• A base station
• Two antennas
• A mounting bracket
• Two screws with wall plugs
Note:
The brand label is not included in the box, but must be ordered separately.
17.2 Installation
Note:
The base station can not be mounted with the antennas pointing downwards as the mounting bracket
does not support it.
Before following the installation instructions as described in chapter 16 for the BS330 base station,
insert the antennas into the base station.
