Chapter 15 Line Termination Unit (LTU2) – REX-BRD0019

15.1 General
This version of the LTU does not support cascaded telephone connections.
Note:
ROFNB 157 25/1 and REX-BRD0019 (ROFNB 157 25/2) can not be used together in one system.
Maintenance
The LTU contains the following field-exchangeable parts (see figure):

15.2 Board description
Jumpers
Not applicable.
Connectors
The LTU has 3 connectors at the front by which Line Termination Circuits (LTCs), are connected to
the PBX.
• LTC1 - LTC4: connection of PBX line 1 to 4.
• LTU Ground: connection of signalling earth (ELR).
• LTC5 - LTC8: connection of PBX line 5 to 8.
LEDs
LED1 : Normally on. Power on
LED2 : Normally off. Watch-dog (not significant)
LED3 : Normally off. Board not polled
LED4 : Normally off. Board error
15.3 Installation
1. Insert the LTU gently into the slides of its specified board position

2. Gently push the board into the back connector till it locks. Do not use any force.
