Power supply unit REX-BAS0063 (BML 351 48)
The PSU is a 48 V power supply that can be screwed to the rear side of the battery cabinet. It can
supply a maximum of 2 modular cabinets. The PSU is provided with battery back-up provision to
charge the back-up batteries. During a mains power failure the battery voltage is supplied to the 2
outputs of the unit. Refer to the ‘Configuration directions’ section in this manual on how many base
stations can be powered using this PSU.
The PSU is provided with an alarm output. The pins of the alarm relay are short-circuit in case no 48
V is supplied to the outputs C and D (see figure
17). If no voltage is present at output C or D because
of an open output fuse (F1 or F2), no alarm is raised.

Mains power cord
Two kind of mains power cords are available to connect the mains to the PSU. Mains power cord
REX-CAB9016 (RPM 945 102) are for all European countries except U.K. and Cyprus. For U.K. and
Cyprus mains power cord REX-CAB9018 (RPMNB 101 02) must be used.
