• Crimping tool for RJ45 8-pin plugs

• Equipment to measure the delay times of base station cables when not using SLU REX-BRD0015
(ROFNB 157 16/1) revision R2A or higher, or CLU-S of revision R1A or higher.
• Tool for fixing wires to an MDF (dogger)
2.5 Miscellaneous items
Apart from the DCT1800-GAP equipment, check that the following additional items are available:
• Base station cables (see chapter 16).
• RJ45 8 pin plugs.
• Personal computer with:
- Windows 95 or higher
- Windows NT 4.0 or higher
This computer is necessary to run the application Cordless System Manager (CSM) for Windows.
For more information about this program it is referred to the CSM help file.
• Epson compatible printer (optional).
The following items should also be available:
• A 3.3 mm

cable with a tin-plated eyelet to connect the modular cabinet to protective ground.
• If the modular cabinet is AC-powered and the base stations powered via separate −48 V power
supply; a 2.5 mm

2-wire cable with a length of about 2.5 m with two faston connectors at one
end to supply power to the MCCB.
