5.3.3 –48 V external source powering
Via an external 48 V source, any configuration of cabinets and base stations can be powered as
long as the power specifications of the external source are met. This method is suitable for any situation
where PBX power is available (see figure
15) or any other 48 V supply with sufficient capacity.

Note:
When using the PBX option the PBX supplier and/or PBX documentation shall be referred, to assure
that the PBX power supply matches the worst case power requirements of the DCT1800-GAP system.
