The battery power unit can provide power for a single cabinet and at least 14 additional base stations
or two cabinets with at least 10 additional base stations for the two cabinets.
With external power all cabinets and a maximum of 56 base stations per cabinet can be powered.
Charge and back-up times of the battery power unit
The charge time and back-up time depend on the load from the modular cabinet(s). The load can be
calculated by adding 50 W required for each modular cabinet to the power consumption of each base
station (5 to 10 W for types KRCNB 301 02/n and KRCNB 301 03/n).
If the modular cabinets are switched off the batteries are fully charged in about 3 hours (see figure
1). If the maximum load of 240 W is connected, the batteries are fully charged in about 25 hours.
Figure 2 shows the minimum back-up time. If the maximum load of 240 W has been connected the
back-up time is 3 hours.
