Figure 6. Example of an interactive message
Mobile data from the handset can initiate the application to send the interactive m
essage,
see 6.13 Mobile Data on pa
ge 41. The user can then select one action from the list. The
action can be sending a message back to the applica
tion and/or dialling a specific number
etc.
See also Function Description, Intera
ctive Messaging, TD 92168GB for more information.
6.8 Message Indication Repetition
NOTE: This feature is applicable for d62 Messenger and d62 Protector only.
The handset can be configured to repeat the audio an
d visual message received alert
described in 6.3 Receive a Message on pa
ge 32. The alert repeats every seven seconds until
the user reads the message or turns the alert off. See Configuration Manual, Ascom d62
DECT Handset, TD 92639EN for the appropriate message settings.
Certain system-defined properties can
be assigned to a message to give it a high priority, for
example, an alarm priority message. Alert repeats start automatically when a high priority
message is received. Such messages do not need to be explicitly configured to trigger alert
repeats. A high priority alert is repeated every 10 seconds for a maximum of 5 minutes and
then the alert stops.
Alerts continue to be repeated until the user presses the hook-on, mute butt
on or soft
key
for accessing the message.
Note that message indication repeat is a system depend
ent feature that cannot be
activated from the handset.
6.9 Colored Messaging
NOTE: This is a system dependent feature for d62 Messenger and d62 Protector only.
Coloured messages can be sent to handset
s. The sender of a message, that is, an application,
determines the colour of the message. Coloured messaging can be useful for categorizing
messages. In figure 7 on page 39, there are two coloured messages, a new message and a
