To set up the MultiVoice Gateway hardware, proceed as follows:
1 If you are installing the MultiVoice Gateway in a rack, insert the unit in the rack and
secure it as shown in Figure 3-6.
2 If you are not rack-mounting the MultiVoice Gateway, place it where you can have full
access to the front and back panels.

3 Connect a VT100 terminal or a workstation with VT100 terminal-emulation software to
the MultiVoice Gateway Control port. Use the null-modem cable provided in your
package.
