DRAM card
The DRAM card is a proprietary Ascend card. It is not hot-swappable and should not be
removed while the MultiVoice Gateway is running. The DRAM card attaches directly to the
CPU bus of the MAX 6000 base unit. Damage might occur if you attempt to remove it.

PCMCIA flash card
The PCMCIA flash card is a standard card that extends existing flash memory in a MAX 6000
base unit.
