The Ethernet profile contains system-global parameters that affect all IP interfaces in the

Understanding the IP network parameters
This section provides some background information about the IP network configuration. The
information is organized by functionality rather than by parameter. For more information about
each parameter, see the MAX Reference Guide.
Multi-cast Have a destination address with a value of 224 for the first octet. The
MultiVoice Gateway does not support Multi-casting, and the
MultiVoice Gateway ignores Multi-cast entries in its routing table.
