1.1 Features
The IntraCore 35160 is a multi-media, multi-protocol switch de-
signed to be a high-performance, compact Layer 2 switch that is
field upgradeable to Layer 4 Type of Service. It utilizes the Switch-
Core-CXE2010 packet processor to support its many features. The
following is a partial list of the switch’s features (please refer to the
User’s Manual on the CD-ROM for a complete list of features):
• SNMP v.1 and RMON (4 groups), telnet, console menu-
driven management
• MIBs: MIB ll (RFC 1213), RMON (RFC 1757), 802.1Q/p
(RFC 2674), Bridge (RFC1493), Asanté Private MIB
• IEEE 802.1q VLAN
• IEEE 802.1p 8-level Class of Service
• IEEE 802.3x Flow Control
• IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree
• IGMP V1, V2 snooping
• Support for up to 256 multicast groups
• Large address table of up to 8000 MAC addresses
• MAC address ageing
• MAC/IP address table display
• Provides Jumbo Packet support up to 16384 Bytes in size
• Port security, including station move detection and Dupli-
cate IP detection; 1 trusted address per port
• Port Mirroring/monitoring on Ingress only (upgrade to In-
gress/Egress)
• Local and Global port management
