Installing the EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter

Make sure LAN drivers aren’t loaded in memory.
The fastest way to ensure that drivers aren’t loaded is to boot
from a DOS diskette that contains no AUTOEXEC.BAT or CON-
FIG.SYS files.

Insert the Asanté EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter Driver Diskette into
drive A:.

From the DOS command line, type the following:
A:SETUP

Press Enter.
A screen appears showing the board model.

Press Enter to continue.
A screen appears titled Note About Setup.

Press any key to continue.
The Setup program searches for the EtherPaC 2000+ adapter.
A screen appears showing three options:
❏ CONFIG BOARD 1
❏ DIAGNOSTIC 1
❏ EXIT

Select DIAGNOSTIC 1 and press Enter.
The Main Menu appears, showing three options:
❏ System Information
❏ Adapter Diagnostic
❏ Exit
