3 Set the Turbo Mode to Enabled only if the adapter fails when
using the NE2000 mode due to an incompatibility between
the PC’s AT-bus and the adapter’s I/O Channel Ready signal
(I/O CHRDY).
This system message appears:
*** CAUTION ***
The Turbo Mode should be set to DISABLE (factory default
setting) for normal operation. You may ENABLE it only if the
adapter fails the Memory or RAM Test. Improper use of the
Turbo Mode may result in unpredictable system operation.
4 To save your changes, press
<F3>
and to return to the Main
Menu, press <ESC>
.
5 To exit the Setup program, select
Exit to Operating System.
