2-6 Installing and Configuring the Adapter
Configuring the EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter
You use the
Setup
program to configure the adapter. The program is
on the ETHERPAC UTILITY AND DRIVERS disk.
You can copy the program to a new DIAG directory on the hard disk
C: drive or you can run it from the floppy.
Automatic configuration
To configure the adapter, you run
Auto Configuration
and let the Setup
program automatically set the adapter’s parameters to default values.
With two or three cards in the PC
If you have one or two additional cards in the PC with parameters that
conflict with the EtherPaC’s default parameters, you run
Set Configu-
ration
which lets you change the values in the adapter’s configuration
to non-default values.
