TURN
ON
LIGHT METER SWITCH.
Push
up
the
switch
button
wit
h
yo
ur
thumb,
and
the
sma
ll
window
on
the
switch
button
w.ill
turn
to
red
indicat-
ing
that
the
meter
is
switched
on.
Through
the
viewfinder,
yo
u will
ob
-
serve
the
movement
of
the
meter's
n
eed
le
on
the
right
side
of
the
gro
und
gl
ass.
Be
sure
to
t
urn
off
the
meter's
switch
when
not
actua
ll
y
taking
readings.
ROTATE
DIAPHRAGM RING.
The
needle
moves
up
and
down
with
the
t
urn
of
the
diaphragm
ring.
When
the
needle
rests
at
the
center,
you
will
get
correct
exposure
.
If
the
needle
does
not
come
to
the
center
no
matter
how
far
you
t
urn
the
diaphragm
ring,
change
the
sh
u
tter
speed.
When
the
needle
is
off
center
a
nd
close
to
the
( + )
mark,
you
will
get
over-exposure:
change
the
shutter
speed
to
a
faster
setting.
If
the
n
eedle
is
closer
to
the
(
-)
mark,
you
will
get
under-expo-
sure:
change
t he
sh
utt
er
spee
d
to
a
sl
ower
setting.
RELEASE SHUTTER.
Hold
your
camera
firmly
and
trip
the
shutter
.
When
the
shutter
is released,
the
meter
switch will automatically
turn
off,
and
the
needle
will
remain
fixed off
and
underneath
the
center.
The
dia-
phragm
will
reopen
to
its
full
aperture
and
the
overall
image
will look
brighter.
Cock
the
rapid
wind
lever
for
the
next
picture.

taking
a series of pic.
tures
under
the
same
lighting conditions,
it
is
not
necessary
to
repeat
instructions
