All Honeywe ll Pentax camera equipment and accessories sold in the United
States and Mexico are unconditionally guaranteed against defects of mate-
rial or workmanship for a period of twelve months from date of purchase.
Service will be rendered
and defective parts will be replaced without cost
to you within that period, pr ovided the equipme nt has not been abused,
alt ered, or operated contrary to instructions. Because the tolerances, qual-
it
y, and design compatibility of lenses other than Pe ntax - Takumar lenses
are beyond our control, dama ge caused by use of such lenses will not be
covered by this
warranty policy. Honeywe ll shall not be liable for any
repair or alt erations except those made with its written consent and shall
not be liable for dama ges from delay or loss of use or from other indire ct
or consequential damag es of any kind, whether caused by defective mat e-
rial or workmanship or otherwise; and it is expressly agr eed that Honey-
well's liability under all g
uarant ees or warranties, w heth er expressed or
implied, is
strictly limited to th e replaceme nt of parts as hereinbefore pro-
vided. In
order to validate your warranty, th e war ranty card must be filled
in COMPLETELY and mailed to th e factory within ten days of purchase.
PROCEDURE DURING 12·MONTH WARRANTY PERIOD
Any equipment which proves defective during the 12 - month warranty
period should be returned to your Honeywell Pentax dealer. The dealer
will forward
the equipment to the Honeywell factory or nearest Honey-
well
repair station. If the equipment is covered by warranty, repairs will
be made and parts replaced free of charge, and the equipment returned
prepaid to your dealer. If the equipment is not covered by warranty,
Honeywell's regular charges will apply. All models, prices and specifica-
tions
are subject to change without notice.
