3.2 Load configuration
The configuration files are created by the Network Electronics System Configurator and
published to a local folder on the computer running the Web Panel Server.
All the configuration files are located in the content directory mapped to the virtual directory
as configured in the IIS.
The Web Panel Server must locate the “WebConfig.xml” file created by System Configurator
and open it. This file contains all the Web Panel button layouts, virtual router mapping,
salvos, controller settings, IP filters etc.
Select “File”->”Open…” in the Web Panel Server file menu to browse for the configuration
file. The selection is saved to registry and used next time the Web Panel Server is started.
3.2.1 First time start-up
When the Web Panel Server is started for the first time, the following message appears:
Click “OK” and browse for the configuration file.
This message will only appear as long as there is no valid configuration file to be found when
you start the Web Panel Server.
