• The appliance requires adequate ventilation. An open area must be provided as shown on
page 27. A ventilation grate can be applied, if desired. This ventilation surface allows air
to enter the compartment for the proper combustion of the gas and aspiration of the
combustion products. In the case of LPG, the gas is heavier than air; in the event of a leak
the vent allows the gas to leave the compartment. The air vent must be at least 700 mm x 25
mm and placed in a central position 135 mm below the mounting surface. (See drawing on
page 27).
