3.6. Batch Processing
Batch Processing allows you to perform Split, Merge, Bookmarks, Image, Layers, Links,
Stamp and numerous Acrobat functions across multiple files or folders automatically.
The process of running a Batch Process involves adding commands to a sequence.
When the sequence is executed, these commands are applied to the document. With
the Batch Processing feature, you can rapidly execute various commands on a collection
of documents using a single sequence.
Batch Processing with ARTS PDF Aerialist Professional allows you to:
1. Run commands on selected files or folders
2. Sort the order of files for processing
3. Output the resulting PDF document to the same folder as the original file or to a
specified folder
4. Specify the output file name and file type
The Batch Processing feature can be found on the ARTS PDF Aerialist Professional
toolbar or menu bar. Go to ‘Productivity > Batch Processing’.
3.6.1. Create a Sequence

2. From the menu bar, go to ‘Plug-ins> ARTS PDF Aerialist Professional >
Productivity > Batch Processing > Create/Edit Sequence’ to open the Create/Edit
Sequence dialog.
3. Click “New Sequence”. You will now be taken to the Edit Sequence dialog.
4. Type in a meaningful name for the new sequence.
5. Select a command from the list of commands and click “Add” to add it to the
sequence. You can add multiple commands to a single sequence.
